A producer from the Oprah Show contacted me through a publicist and asked for two paragraphs "pitching" why they should have me on their show. I wrote: Most of us don’t know who we really are at depth—only knowing what we believe on the surface and not knowing where those beliefs come from. And the consequences of our ignorance are enormous. We have no basis for accountability. We blame circumstances outside ourselves for everything: wives blame husbands, nations blame nations, political parties blame the opposition, and religions vilify one another. Yet no one is personally accountable. As a result, our families are unstable, our nation and its institutions in disarray, and the world is in turmoil. In truth, we each are the source of our own problems as well as the problems in the world. We are blind to the fact that we have created a divisive world. We have done insufficient self-examination to know who we are and how we are constructed. We don’t know what we actually believe or what our decisions are based upon. Senator John McCain said that it took his lonely incarceration as a prisoner of war to peel off layers of beliefs and discover who he truly was. Leslie Reynolds-Benns, PhD, has a solution that is easier than becoming a prisoner of war. She provides a means for each individual to look inside and identify and release the psychic clutter that clouds our access to the source of our beliefs. In her book, Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul, she delineates a new definition of confession, ferreting out and releasing the unnecessary unconscious and unexamined beliefs stored in each individual’s psyche. I'm sorry that I've ignored my blog. I've been busy putting the finishing touches on my new web site, www.lesliereynoldsbenns.com. I'm really thrilled and am getting very positive comments about it--some rave reviews. Not bad. I'm leaving for Southern California tomorrow but will be back next week. But I wanted to post one more thing -- the nine Celestine Insights. Just to have enough in the mix. 1 –We are discovering again that we live in a deeply mysterious world, full of sudden coincidences and synchronistic encounters that seem destined.
2 -As more of us awaken to this mystery, we will create a completely new worldview - redefining the universe as energetic and sacred.
3 -We will discover that everything around us, all matter, consists of and stems from a divine energy that we are beginning to see and understand.
4 -From this perspective, we can see that humans have always felt insecure and disconnected from this sacred source, and have tried to take energy by dominating each other. This struggle is responsible for all human conflict.
5 -The only solution is to cultivate a personal reconnection with the divine, a mystical transformation that fills us with unlimited energy and love, extends our perception of beauty, and lifts us into a Higher-Self Awareness.
6 -In this awareness, we can release our own pattern of controlling, and discover a specific truth, a mission, we are here to share that helps evolve humanity toward this new level of reality.
7 -In pursuit of this mission, we can discover an inner intuition that shows us where to go and what to do, and if we make only positive interpretations, brings a flow of coincidences that opens the doors for our mission to unfold.

I wrote the following on 5/27 and forgot to post it: Have patience with my newness.
Doctor Carl Johan Calleman (www.calleman.com) is a noted expert on the Mayan Calendar. He encourageed events to be held around the world at the mid-point of the Fourth Night of this "day" of the Calendar. That would be at 10:00 AM today in Salt Lake City.
The Fourth night is about "integrating and preparing for the strong influx of light on the right- brain half that is about to enter especially as the Fifth Day begins on Nov, 24, 2006. The incoming energy of the Fifth day will be much stronger than anything we have previously experienced. The Fifth day is the breakthrough energy that previously, in another [time], brought Christianity...." I was inspired to join the celebration.
The day dawned with a drop of 20 degrees in temperature. We had the event at Murray Park with a beginning time of 9:00 AM. The day got colder as the morning went forward but it was fun being with a group of believers in the Mayan Calendar. At precisely 10 AM, we were called to Meditate. It took a good ten minutes for everyone to get organized. We were meditating on bringing the feminine energy into this world and acted as vehicles to ground that energy. We meditated for the balance of the half hour we had set aside and then joined in a circle of 22 persons. We all had five minutes to share which was profound. I found it a privilege to be with these souls. And then some newcomers to this medium took over, speaking about things that I had known and done years and years ago. When we broke up, Robb and I were the first to leave the bitter cold but warm heart energy..

Getting to know you
I consider myself to be a pretty conventional human being, in spite of the many descriptions I get as eccentric. Every thing I do, feels right to me. I’m really into meditation and spiritual growth and care desperately about the condition of this planet and our collective consciousness.

I want to give you a little background. I received an email from Joe Zug, whom I had previously perceived as trying to make money off other people’s ideas. He previously ran a course explaining the movie, "What the Bleep." This email was again showing a DVD of someone else’s work, but it appeared to be worthwhile and this time it was for free. I was preparing to leave for California for a Spiritual Director’s International Conference so was sad that I would miss it. When I returned I found he was extending the showings. So I arranged to get there with my husband, Robb.
The email had said in18 point type:
Ian Xel Lungold’s detailed, flipchart presentation is
a wakeup call of phenomenal significance.

It explains the nature, content and significance of:
The 9 decreasing-length time periods beginning 16.4 billion years ago (The Big Bang) and ending on October 28, 2011 (The end of "time" as we now experience it.)
The 13 (7 "day" & 6 "night") segments repeated within each of those 9 periods. (The "how" of the "7 ‘days’ of creation.")
The predictable event-types that recur within each "day" of the 9 decreasing-length periods but at increasingly lower intensity.
The two, inter-related calendars of the Mayan culture that measure something other than time.
And much, much more....

Robb and I went but had to leave early. It was a fascinating presentation, but we both get up at 4:30 in the morning at the latest, and we had to leave at about the half-way point at 10:00 pm. Joe had been stopping the DVD numerous times to explain what we had seen.
The presentation was about the Mayan Calendar, of which Joe had a copy (also available at mayanmajix.com). He explained that prior to the emergence of left-brain dominance, each culture had their own calendars, and all were spiritual. At the break, I borrowed it and figured mine and Robb’s sun signs and tones. The Maya had birth signs but honored the different sacred Tzolkin for each of 260 days.
I’m Flint in the Galactic lexicon: "A divine spark of intelligence ... [with] innate abilities to discriminate emotions from facts, ... protect[ing], defend[ing] or cur[ing] others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword or truth, falsehoods are cut away." Many just call me blunt. And my number is two for Duality, "the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. It is walking a balance while making choices of all kinds [of dualities].... Experiencing the differences between one and another....
Robb is the Eagle, "intermediary between Heaven and Earth ... gifted with keen intelligence ... patience and a deep sense of value. Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of spirit. Compassionate service to others sustains [him] ... as wings would sustain his eagle brothers." In his humble way, he’s uncomfortable with that description’s mention of "an intermediary."
His number is nine, patience: "The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine."
